Privacy Policy – Peptiva

1. Introduction
Peptiva (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a personal tracking tool for GLP-1 medications, peptides, weight progress, reminders, and related health routine information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
Peptiva is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
2. Information We Collect
2.1. Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use Peptiva, you may provide information such as:
- Medication names and dose amounts
- Schedule settings and reminder preferences
- Weight entries, height, goal weight, and notes
- Symptom logs, journal content, and water tracking entries
- Custom peptide names and related user-entered details
- Messages you send to support
2.2. Health data you choose to connect
If you grant permission, Peptiva may access selected health information from:
- Apple Health on iPhone
- Google Health Connect on Android
This may include weight and height measurements used to prefill or update your progress tracking. Access to health data is optional and controlled by your device permissions.
2.3. Purchase and subscription information
If you subscribe to premium features, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may process purchase-related data, including transaction identifiers, subscription status, entitlement status, and app user identifiers used to manage access.
2.4. Technical information
We and our service providers may receive limited technical information necessary to operate the App, such as:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Subscription entitlement status
- Error or diagnostic information related to purchases or platform integrations
2.5. Advertising and marketing data
Peptiva uses advertising and attribution tools from Meta (Facebook) andGoogle to measure the performance of our marketing and improve our ads. Subject to your tracking preferences on your device, these tools may process:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS when you allow tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and Advertising ID on Android unless you opt out)
- App events such as app installs, app launches, trial starts, and subscription purchases
- Purchase amount, currency, and product identifier associated with a purchase event
- Basic device, operating-system, and app-version information
- Coarse location information derived from your IP address
We do not share your health data, weight entries, medication or peptide names, dose amounts, symptom logs, journal content, or other health-related tracking data with advertising or attribution providers.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the core features of Peptiva,
- save your tracking data locally on your device,
- import optional health measurements you authorize,
- send local reminders and notifications you configure,
- enable premium subscriptions and restore purchases,
- respond to support requests,
- improve app stability and fix technical issues.
4. Local Storage
Peptiva primarily stores your tracking data locally on your device using on-device storage. This may include medications, doses, schedules, weight entries, symptoms, notes, and preferences.
If you delete the App from your device, locally stored data may also be removed unless it is preserved by your operating system backup or other device settings.
5. Health Data Permissions
Apple Health and Google Health Connect data are accessed only if you choose to grant permission. You can revoke that access at any time through your device or health platform settings.
Peptiva does not use health data for advertising and does not sell health data.
6. Notifications
If you enable notifications, Peptiva may schedule local reminders on your device for doses and related tracking events. Notification permissions can be changed in your device settings.
7. Third-Party Services
Peptiva uses the following third-party services in connection with subscriptions, platform features, and advertising:
- Apple App Store / Apple In-App Purchase – iOS billing and subscription management
- Google Play Billing – Android billing and subscription management
- RevenueCat – subscription entitlement and customer center functionality
- Apple Health / Google Health Connect – optional body-metric imports when authorized
- Meta (Facebook) App Events and Meta Ads – advertising measurement, attribution, and campaign optimization
- Google Ads – advertising measurement, attribution, and campaign optimization
These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their data practices are governed by those policies, which you can review directly:

8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health data with advertisers.
We share limited information only when necessary to provide App functionality or measure our marketing, such as:
- purchase and subscription data with Apple, Google, and RevenueCat,
- optional health-permission requests with Apple Health or Google Health Connect,
- app events, advertising identifiers, and purchase-attribution data with Meta (Facebook) and Google for advertising measurement, subject to your tracking preferences,
- support-related communications when you contact us directly.
9. Data Retention
Information stored locally in the App remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the App, or remove the App from your device.
Subscription-related records handled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained by those providers according to their own policies and legal obligations.
10. Your Choices
You can control your data by:
- editing or deleting tracking entries within the App,
- revoking Apple Health or Google Health Connect access,
- turning notifications on or off in device settings,
- managing or canceling subscriptions through Apple or Google,
- declining Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, which limits advertiser tracking,
- on Android, resetting or deleting your Advertising ID and opting out of personalized ads in Settings → Privacy → Ads,
- opting out of personalized Google ads at https://adssettings.google.com.
11. Children’s Privacy
Peptiva is not intended for children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information associated with Peptiva and its services. However, no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
13. International Users
Depending on the third-party services you use, some information may be processed in countries outside your own. Those providers are responsible for their own transfer and storage practices.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Policy.
